In some circles, hats represent power and authority. The queen of England often adorns her head with a hat. When the military serves the country in combat, a hat is worn to protect their head. When firemen extinguish fires, a hat is worn for protection. Ultimately, the head is covered and protected because it is important. The head is where our brain is housed and thinking occurs. If we go through great lengths to protect our head, that means what we think is essential to how we choose people to be a part of our life. Just to narrow this down a bit, let’s focus on what we think about ourselves. Take a moment to answer this question for yourself? Are you decent, average or AMAZING? I hope the answer is “Amazing.” If not, don’t worry because you become amazing the moment you decide in your mind that you are amazing. The brain is powerful as it constantly records messages and retains information. We must be mindful of the messages our brain records. It’s been said, what goes in, must come out.
When you wake up every day, act as if you’ve placed a royal purple hat on your head. It is your way of making a conscious effort to protect your brain from negative messages. This imaginary royal hat will help you to walk with power and authority. It’s been proven that behavior follows belief. If you move through your day with your royal hat that makes you feel powerful and confident, you will not entertain “riff raff” in your precious space. Protect your head. Don’t allow negative thoughts to trickle down to your heart and settle. Remember and record this thought: You are AMAZING! Play many times as needed.
